The Ever After [WIP]

Ed: This is a super, super early version of my first Twine project. Made primarily as an experimentation ground for Twine macros and variables, I have attempted to weave a narrative and create a structure that is at least entertaining to play!

You made it. The ground beneath you feels no different, the air tastes the same but somehow you know. You're here. Home. 

As the ashen light fades you heave the pack from your shoulders and make ready the camp. You consider the positioning, open field, little visibility, the dark mass of a hedgerow blocking the southern approach, but you are tired. So very tired.

With an effort that betrays your frailty, you spread the bed sheet on the ground. Tonight you rest. Tomorrow, the real challenge begins...
